Dutch Spelling and Grammar (QSN)
What is being measured?
Q1000 Spelling and Grammar measures knowledge of the Dutch language. The test provides an overview of the skills needed in various situations where written communication is required. This includes the correct formulation of letters and emails, without spelling errors.
When to use?
The Spelling and Grammar test can be used to assess suitability for positions where the correct use of the Dutch language is important.
Why use it?
The test includes questions from three subareas of spelling and grammar. These subareas are:
Verb forms: Relates to conjugating verbs. It focuses on the correct use of personal forms or past participles and accurate spelling.
Sentence structures: Concerns the correct writing of sentences. Sentences must be constructed in accordance with grammar rules; they must be correctly formulated.
Spelling: Focuses on the correct spelling of various words. It includes words that must follow spelling rules and words that need to be known in order to be spelled correctly.
How to use?
The test consists of two types of questions: choosing the correct spelling of words or indicating the number of errors in a given sentence. The test lasts approximately 15 minutes. There is a vocational level (EQF 3-4) and higher vocational level (EQF 6) norm group available
