Technical update Assessio Bloom platform November 2025
Hello!
We are constantly working to innovate our services and products. In this short update, we focus on:
- Teams will become Groups
- Maximum amount of restarts Cognitive abilities
- Anouncement: new candidate account screen
´Teams´ will become ´Groups´
Starting with this November update, we're introducing a familiar feature in a new guise: Groups.
You might already be familiar with this functionality in Teams. It allows you to easily create a group - for a department, project, or talent pool. It provides a clearer overview and allows you to easily perform actions within each group. Super convenient!
Why we changed the name
The candidate grouping functionality has proven very useful. However, in recruitment projects, we don't refer to them as teams, but as groups. Therefore, the functionality will remain the same as you are used to, but we are changing the name to Groups, because it is more suitable for all users.

Maximum amount of restarts Cognitive abilities
Starting Monday, November 12, two new restrictions will apply to home-based capacity tests: they can be started a maximum of 3 times and must be completed within four hours.
Currently, the capacity test doesn't have to be completed in one sitting. If the test is interrupted during the test (for example, due to an internet connection problem), it can be resumed later. We would like to maintain this flexibility. At the same time, we believe a limitation is necessary: this provides clarity for the candidate and ensures a more uniform administration, thus improving comparability.
How it works
We have updated our 360-degree feedback reports! The new reporting style has been implemented first for the National Competency tool, but we will be implementing it on our other 360-degree feedback reports in the coming weeks.
If the candidate has taken too long or restarted the test too many times, they will be unable to continue and will receive a notification. If necessary, you can reset the candidate's test. The candidate can then take the test again, but it will start from the beginning.
Anouncement: new candidate account screen
We will soon be introducing a new screen for editing the candidate account. The design has been modernised and aligns with our updated style.
What is new?
- A clear menu that lets you navigate directly to the right section.
- All program steps are visible at a glance and can be started immediately.
- Fewer clicks, faster work, and a clearer overview.
You will soon be able to try out the beta version. The current screen will remain available, so you can get used to it and use both versions side by side.
Below is a sneak peek of what is to come!
