AI in the Assessio Platform
Assessio uses AI to amplify human decision-making in recruitment and development—not to replace it. Our assistants simplify complex judgments, speed up workflows, and keep interpretations consistent with our validated performance framework. We operate on a human-in-the-loop model: users review and approve every AI output. We are ISO-certified and design AI features with privacy, fairness, and transparency in mind.
Where AI appears in the product
1) Report Studio
Generates clear, purpose driven summaries of assessment data for stakeholders. The summaries is tagged as AI-generated; recruiters review/edit before sharing. No user data is used to train external models.
Writing guardrails (built-in): local language, objective/supportive tone, and behavior labels (UNDER / JUST_RIGHT / OVER)—no numeric scores in text.
2) AI Lens Assistant (Lens Maker)
Conversational helper that turns job descriptions and strategic needs into role-specific competency profiles aligned with the Assessio framework. It processes job/lens text only (no personal data) and always requires user approval.
3) AI Development Assistant
Helps employees/leaders turn insights into Directional goals → Actions → Checks. Users provide the input (role, feedback, potential/performance data if desired) and can refine, accept, or reject suggestions.
How we handle data & privacy
-
No model training on your data. We call OpenAI securely; content is processed at runtime only and not used to train external models.
-
Minimum data needed. Smart Summary uses assessment results already in Assessio; Lens Assistant works from job text; Development Assistant uses the info you supply.
-
Transparent by design. AI outputs are clearly labeled; users remain in control.
Fairness & guardrails
-
Science-based framework. All assistants operate within Assessio’s validated performance model to keep outputs consistent and job-relevant.
-
Human-in-the-loop. You always review/edit before anything is used or shared.
-
Style & scoring rules. Local, professional language; no numeric scores in narrative; use only UNDER/JUST_RIGHT/OVER for behavior levels.
-
Testing & monitoring. Internal psychologists test before/after launch; Responsible-AI assessments and ongoing monitoring reduce bias and misuse risk.

FAQs
Do candidates need to consent to AI features?
AI runs only when a user triggers it. It uses assessment or behaviour data already in the platform; candidates aren’t exposed to the AI output unless you choose to share it.
What model do you use?
Assessio uses OpenAI’s GPT-4o via secure APIs, wrapped with guardrails that define inputs/outputs, prevent misuse, and enforce our framework.
Are outputs unbiased?
We use a demographically agnostic framework, conduct internal testing, and run Responsible-AI reviews. Users still make the final decision.
