Consent model in recruitment module
Assessio lets test takers (candidates) opt in to the reuse of their completed assessment results (e.g., MAP, Matrigma, Match-V) in future recruitments they’re added to. With consent, results are automatically attached to the new recruitment; without consent, the candidate must be invited again to test or reuse their previous responses.
When and how consent is collected
-
First time a candidate tests: They’re asked whether Assessio may reuse these results in future recruitments at your organization.
-
Feedback page: If they skipped or declined earlier, they can give consent later on the feedback page.
- At re-use moments: When added to a new recruitment, candidates who have not consented receive a new invite and can choose to reuse previous results at that point.
What happens in each scenario
A) Candidate gives consent
-
When added to any new recruitment, their existing results are automatically attached to that requisition.
-
The candidate receives an email notification informing them that results were reused.
-
No new testing is required (unless the process explicitly requests retesting).
B) Candidate does not give consent
-
When added to a new recruitment, they receive a standard assessment invite.
-
They can choose to reuse previous results at that moment, or complete new tests.
-
If they still refuse consent, results won’t be auto-reused for future recruitments.
C) Candidate grants consent later
-
If a candidate later turns on consent (e.g., from the feedback page), reuse will apply to future recruitments going forward.
Scope & limits
-
Scope: Consent covers automatic reuse of the candidate’s own completed results within your organization’s Assessio environment.
-
What’s reused: Completed assessment outputs (e.g., test scores, competency projections) as they appear in the platform.
-
What’s not changed: Consent doesn’t alter your recruiters’ access model or data retention; it only governs automatic attachment of past results to new recruitments.
Candidate experience (at a glance)
-
First assessment session → prompted for consent.
-
Later recruitment added:
-
If consented → results auto-reused + email sent.
-
If not consented → invite sent; candidate may reuse results or take tests again.
-
-
Feedback page: candidate can change to consent for future reuse. A candidate can use the initial e-mail invite to access the feedback page at any time after they have completed the assessments.
Admin/Recruiter tips
-
Check consent status before adding candidates to new processes; it predicts whether reuse will be automatic or require a new invite.
-
Communicate clearly to candidates what “reuse” means and that candidates can still retest if they prefer.
FAQs
Can a candidate withdraw consent?
Yes—if they revoke it, future recruitments won’t auto-reuse results (you’ll send a fresh invite instead).
Does consent move results across different client organizations?
No. Consent controls reuse inside your organization’s Assessio tenant only.
Will candidates always be retested without consent?
Not automatically. They’ll receive an invite and can choose to reuse prior results at that point; if they decline, they’ll complete the tests again.
Are candidates informed when reuse happens automatically?
Yes—an email notification is sent when prior results are auto-applied to a new recruitment.
