Personality (MAP Essence)
Map Essence is a shortened version of MAP, ideal for screening and (pre)selection purposes.
What is measured?
MAP-Essence focusses on the five factors of personality: Emotional Stability , Agreeableness , Openness , Extraversion and Conscientiousness. Because it is a shortened version of MAP, the questionnaire has fewer items and the subscales of the Five Factors are not measured.
When to use it?
MAP-Essence is used for (pre)selection purposes. Because it is a shorter version, the questionnaire is easier and quicker to complete, which is ideal for screening purposes and managing volume. MAP-Essence provides two lenses for specific purposes: Integrity and the Service lens.
Why use it?
The traits of the Five Factor Model are generally regarded as enduring characteristics of a person, traits that are truly part of a person’s nature and possess a certain stability. These characteristics vary between individuals and are important in the work context. We advise using MAP-Essence when you want to use a reliable and valid assessment of personality with a shorter completion time for the respondent.
How to use it?
There is no time limit for taking the test. MAP-Essence consists of 55 questions. On average, candidates take 7-10 minutes to complete it. There is a candidate report and an interpretive report available.
