Cognitive insights

Cognitive insights are part of a standard feature that can be deactivated for your organisation.

Cognitive insights can be accessed in the Compare Candidate(s) page. These insights are based on Problem-Solving assessment (Adaptive Matrigma and/or Logics) data. They relate to General Mental Ability and do not represent a match with the job.

Assessio advises to use the Match scores to investigate person-job fit. Only use cognitive scores for further analysis.

The cognitive score(s) are normative, meaning is a relative indication on where the Candidate is compared to other people, or to what is "normal". After taking the assessments, Candidates receive a score between 0-10.

  • 0 - 3 are considered lower than average.
  • 3 - 7 are considered average.
  • 7 - 10 are considered higher than average

Higher than average does not mean "better" and lower than average does not mean "worse".
