What is measured?

With QCHV, you can quickly and thoroughly determine whether a candidate or employee has the right working and thinking level for the intended position or training program. The test result provides insight into their general cognitive abilities. Cognitive abilities relate to the ease with which a person is expected to acquire and apply new information. In addition, cognitive abilities determine how quickly and easily someone analyzes and solves problems at the measured level, gains overview and identifies connections, but also how they form judgments and make decisions. The report addresses the general cognitive abilities as well as the scores on the various components.

When to use it?

QCHV can be used for (pre)selection, mobility, and development.

Why use it?

General cognitive abilities are the best predictor of job success.

How to use it?

QCHV contains 4 components and is suitable for home administration. However, a verification test must be administered under supervision to check whether the home administration was a reliable measurement. If, based on the results of the verification test, there is doubt about this, a retest can be administered. The level at which you administer the test depends on the research question. For QCHV, the norm groups University of Applied Sciences (EQF6) and University (EQF7) are available.
