Cognitive ability tests
Our cognitive ability tests measure mental ability. This can be described as the mental skills and processes that the brain uses to think, learn, remember, reason, and solve problems. We have 5 cognitive ability tests for you to choose from:
Cognitive abilities Higher level (QCHV)
QCHV measures General Cognitive Abilities, for Higher level. Uses verbal, numerical and figural items. Scores can be related to specific working and thinking levels / educational levels (EQF 6 and 7).
- Applicable for higher vocational and university level job requirements
- Hometest, scores can be verified with a checktest
- 4 subtests (diagrams, figure series, number series, analogies)
- Norm available for specific levels (EQF 6, EQF 7)
- Duration ± 40 min.
Cognitive abilities Mid Level (QCMV)
QCMV easures General Cognitive Abilities, for Mid level. Uses verbal, numerical and figural items.Scores can be related to specific working and thinking levels / educational levels (EQF 2, 3 and 4).
- Applicable for Mid Level job requirements
- Hometest, scores can be verified with a checktest
- 4 subtests (diagrams, figure series, number series, analogies)
- Duration ± 30 min.
Matrigma (Classic)
Classic Matrigma measures GMA (General Mental Ability), for all levels. It is a non-verbal test, so no impact of language skills on the test scores. It uses a general, global norm.
- Non-verbal test (The questions consist of figures), so language skills are not a factor
- Reports available in multiple languages.
- Duration ± 40 min.
Matrigma (Adaptive)
- Non-verbal test (The questions consist of figures), so language skills are not a factor
- Adaptive (adapts the shown questions to the person's cognitive level)
- Reports available in multiple languages.
- Duration ± 12 mins.
Logics
Logics measures also GMA, but it also indentifies key cognitive strengths, such as working speed. It uses a general, global norm.
