Import and export of compensation band

When deploying the Compensation product and throughout its use, it is possible to export and import your compensation bands in bulk.

💡 Note: Before carrying out a first export or import, it will be necessary to send your different types of remunerations to Support (support@elevo.fr) so that they can be set up on your account (Manage remunerations types).

Below you will find an illustration with the legend of the different elements constituting a compensation band.

If a band is not published, it is only visible to Admins or people with specific rights for the product (Managing administrator rights: roles and permissions).

Manager visibility

You can define at the overall level of your space whether or not managers can access the salaries of their direct or indirect reports.

If you allow managers to see the salaries of their reports, they will be able to access the entire compensation band associated with the employee.

However, only their reports will appear in the analysis tab.

💡 Note : In the salary review campaign, the minimum and maximum levels for each employee (based on the compensation band to which they are assigned) are expected to appear: if the compensation band in question is not published, the minimum and maximum levels will not appear.

If you have created personalized remuneration types

The model adapted to your organization is available by exporting your bands from Compensation > Compensation bands > Export all bands.

After completing the personalized file, please send the file to Support (support@elevo.fr) in the following format: xlsx or csv.

💡 Note: The import will be carried out within 2-3 working days.

If you have not created personalized types of remuneration

The generic import template is available in the following formats: Excel, Google Sheets or csv. After completing the generic file, please send the file to Support (support@elevo.fr) in the format xlsx or csv.

How do I update an existing band via import?

To do this, export the band from Elevo (📤 Export a compensation band), then modify the necessary elements in the band without changing its name.

Indeed, when importing, if an imported band has a similar name to an existing band on Elevo then the existing band will be updated with the elements of the imported band.

The modified elements will be :

• the band will again be in draft,
• the currency entered,
• the levels (created, deleted or modified according to differences between matrices),
• the minimum and maximum for each remuneration.

The export and import files are identical. However, the import/export model varies depending on each organisation and the types of remunerations that have been created.

The model adapted to your organisation is available by exporting your bands from Compensation > Compensation bands > Export all bands.

💡 Note: You can export even if no band has been created yet in order to retrieve the appropriate format for your organisation and your types of compensation.
